Frequently Asked Questions
Arm slots aren't really as different as you might think. Everyone basically throws from the same one, actually, with their arm about 90 degrees from their upper body. The only thing that changes is the angle that your upper body is at, which creates different arm slots. But throwing is throwing, and I've successfully trained plenty of "normal" throwers as well as sidearm and submarine guys.
You've Been injured several times, why would I want your advice?
Being injured isn't something to be ashamed of. It's difficult to pitch for a long time without experiencing an injury at some point of another. But if you want to try to avoid injury, or return from one, it helps to have the guidance of someone who's experienced the real thing and knows what both the injury and the recovery from it entail. Many players and coaches think that they know what causes certain injuries that they've never had, and I thought I did at one point as well, but once you actually have an injury you realize that you didn't know a thing about it beforehand. Since going through the rehab for several different injuries, I have a much greater understanding of how they occur and how they might be avoided, and certainly how to return from them.
